Thank you for posting that.
I’ve been on a musician forum for several years where the liberals and conservatives are constantly at each others’ throats, nonstop insults and derision, and it gets really tiresome before long.
But they both fail to realize it’s absolutely imperative that we take our government away from the lying, backstabbing slime in DC who tell us whatever they think we want to hear, then go to work for lobbyists and rich donors.
Nobody who gets the money to campaign from those same donors will ever change a thing, which is the best reason I can think of Trump has been my number one choice since the day he announced.
If you don’t like that, fine. I don’t insult you because of your choice of candidates, show me the same courtesy.
BINGO!
I'm not saying that any one particular politician is automatically a slimeball, but the overall influence is pervasive and abominable.
To a degree, a self-funded candidate at least has the chance of being less corrupt, because the way things work now is inherently corrupting. Wealthy donors invariably seem to have more influence on policy than the everyday voters do.
This is just another demonstration of the great wisdom of our Founders, because minimal government has the natural effect of minimizing the available potential for corruption.
A Donald Trump Presidency would shake the Washington Establishment of both parties to their very cores. I'm not saying everything would change, but at least the real potential would be there.
Nothing could be worse than maintaining the status quo, and nothing could be better than shaking up the whole culture in Washington. I've concluded that Ted Cruz is not the best man for the job this time around.
The only candidate that can get elected with a mandate to get this process started in earnest is Donald J. Trump, a flawed, yet worthy, passionate, red-blooded American who will, in my humble opinion, make a great President who will work energetically and tirelessly to help We the People make America great again!
Go, Trump, go!
