The problem for them is that Donald Trump is only one vote. If Trump has an overwhelming lead in the delegates going into the convention, and the GOP plays games to make sure he isn't the nominee, the people that are strong Trump supporters won't forgive or forget.

The Rinos were stupid to publicize their desire and real plans to contest the Republican Nomination process. They were to brazen and detailed in their support of Hillary over Trump.
Because of that, with Trumps large base, he knows all he has to do is set up daily protest events in Ohio and people will come to Ohio by the millions to protest what is going on inside the convention center. The revolt will be bigger than the election recount of 2000.
