Trump should have said if it was someone on this stage now who wins, yes I will support the nominee. If it is someone who swoops in from nowhere, then no.

That’s a good point. Because for several weeks the GOPe have been plotting to get an open convention. At least the ones on the stage are willing to try to win it.
