No, Cruz is just a freshman Senator who thinks he wears bigger pants than he does. I can't figure him. As I have said, on PAPER he is my obvious choice. But he has never and seemingly can't close the deal with me. I really have no connection whatsoever with him. So yes, he is running some kind of scam and con job, and since that seems to be centered on the white paper candidate for folks like me, that is probably why I reject him.
Cruz runs on "trust" and that is not what pops into my mind when I see or hear him or consider his arguments. I guess that is why he has to continue to remind me that I CAN trust him, because that is obviously an organic feeling.
Also, I am still trying to describe his mannerisms. They are lawyerly, and he does not look comfortable in his own skin. I'm sure he has some kind of healthy self image, but it sure comes off ugly.
