I too was totally disappointed, even disgusted. Romney showed himself to be a lying, backstabbing slimeball today, I’ll never believe a word he says again. Funny, I’ve been saying that about Bill and Hillary Clinton for over 20 years...
In 2012 Mitt spoke of Trump as if he was the greatest thing since peanut butter, today he did everything but call him the anti Christ. Deplorable, backstabbing twit...just like a politician. and exactly the reason we’re all sick of the politicians running things in DC and ready for someone who is not controlled by the same group of donors and lobbyists.
One of those two statements was a lie, which one matters not at all to me, although I think today was the lie. The fact is, one was a lie, plain and simple, and Mitt should be ashamed of himself. He claims to be a Christian. He forgot the golden rule. Would he want Trump to talk about him like that? I seriously doubt it. So he shouldn’t have done it.
Treat other people they way you want them to treat you. Just thought I’d remind you what it says...since you seem to have forgotten...
Everything Jeff said in his letter is true, wish I could say that about anything Romney says. We don’t need you Mitt, we don’t want you, and I, for one, will never ever believe a word you say again.
I’m a Cruz fan too, although my first pick for President is Trump, but I will support and vote for either without a twinge of remorse.
Today showed me just how terrified the GOP is, and how low they will stoop to try and derail their own front runner, who has a very good chance of being their eventual nominee. We should be pulling together to support that front runner, in the interest of defeating Hillary Clinton. With the divide currently being perpetuated by the establishment politicians in DC right now, she’s looking at a very good chance of waltzing right into the White House. THAT needs to change.
I seriously hope we can find a way to get this letter (and mine) to Mitt Romney, he needs to know just how much damage he is doing if he continues down this path. The one thing the GOP is not doing is the same thing they haven’t done for at least 30 years. They are NOT LISTENING TO THE PEOPLE’S WISHES.
Listen up Mitt, if you have three functioning brain cells, you need to start trying to pull the party together in support of the person who looks a whole lot like their next nominee, rather then perpetuating this division in the party that is almost certain to hand the White House to the socialist who has already thrown this country under he bus repeatedly. And lied about it. Repeatedly.
