This is what he said:
“He was begging for my endorsement,” Trump said Thursday. “I could have said, ‘Mitt, drop to your knees,’ and he would have dropped to his knees. He was begging. True. He was begging me.”
You read one headline and your hatred of Trump, which has apparently perverted your mind, turned it into something else. And in order to justify it you have to pretend you can read Trumps mind by clarifying what he was thinking despite what he said. Wow.
Check the context and then use your brain. It isn’t hard; people do it all the time.
