Donald Trump responds to the speech Mitt Romney delivered Thursday morning on the state of the 2016 race which he used to lambaste the Republican presidential frontrunner. At a campaign rally in Portland, Maine this afternoon Trump talked about how Mitt Romney begged him for his endorsement in 2012, which eventually did happen.
"He was begging for my endorsement," Trump said Thursday. "I could have said, 'Mitt, drop to your knees,' and he would have dropped to his knees. He was begging. True. He was begging me."

Don’t forget that our Donald has used this phrase before when he talked about the captured sailors “on their knees in the begging position”. Anyone trying to make something nasty out of it should be shot down hard.
Well, things do change when you have kids. Have you thought about adopting so that he and you can share in that joy?
In truth, it says more about the image of the candidate than it does about anything else. It doesn’t take a dirty mind...
It’s what happens when the candidate acts and speaks like trump does.

I don’t care.
My first impression was “get on your knees and beg”...the other image didn’t cross my mind until a bit later. If the Lewinsky thing had never happened I guess I wouldn’t have considered Trump’s statement as a sexual thing at all. It’s another version of “kiss the ring” or “touch the scepter if the king grants you audience”
But before everyone starts “tsk tsking” Trump, even the Bible in places is very stark in using sexual imagery in some of it’s prophecies concerning Israel. The use of sexual imagery as a vehicle for truth can really “lay bare” issues that need to be “exposed” in a way all the fancy “spin” can never “cover up”!
Consider this proffering from Jeremiah 13:25-26:”This is your lot, the portion measured to you From Me,” declares the LORD, “Because you have forgotten Me And trusted in falsehood. 26”So I Myself have also stripped your skirts off over your face, That your shame may be seen. 27”As for your adulteries and your lustful neighings, The lewdness of your prostitution On the hills in the field, I have seen your abominations. Woe to you, O Jerusalem! How long will you remain unclean?”
Ironically our nations’ own sins seem to be under exposure, our own skirts are are being stripped off over our faces!
Consider Nahum 3:5”I am against you,” declares the LORD Almighty. “I will lift your skirts over your face. I will show the nations your nakedness and the kingdoms your shame.
Trump’s statement in response to Romney was lightweight compared to what the Bible can throw down against entire wayward societies using sexual imagery!
I’m not a Trump man, and perhaps he is a total con but he speaks to uncomfortable truths that politicians would rather not have exposed! I have to wonder if God has not found a court Jester in Trump, who dances and jokes,who charms and insinuates sarcastically and shakes his rattle at those hidden entrenched elites(of both parties) who have forgotten, that in the end, their carefully laid plans to collapse our nation still count on the naivete’ of the common American to go along with his or her own enslavement!

In case you have forgotten, politics is always a very dirty gutter brawl.
Conservatives have had their heads handed to them in all too many elections because they have tried to play by the Marquis Of Queensbury Rules, in what is basically an alley mugging in knife blade range.
Do I think Trump is a real Conservative, oh hell no; would I rather have Cruz, oh double hell yes.
Unfortunately, at this point I don’t think Cruze can win enough primaries to get the nomination.
I’m in California and our primary is in June, I think by then the issue will be decided, though I will still vote Cruz if he is on the primary ballot.
The one very big thing I like about Trump, he is the guy who brings a Colt 1911 to a knife fight.
Only two things I will go on my knees before; the first is GOD, the second is my lovely wife.
And only GOD knows why either one puts up with me.
I do believe that he was saying that BEGGERS BELONG ON THEIR KNEES.
