Why do the Trump cultists think that offering a Supreme Court seat to "the biggest liar I've ever seen" is an acceptable position for Trump? Have you abandoned principle entirely? Because I sure don't see any signs of it with either Trump or his cultists.

Here is the thing: you may have a point. And you may think that making your point in writing will convince a Trump supporter of your point. But you apparently follow the GOP's method of public relations by first insulting the Trump supporter, then stating your point, then following up with the same nakedly contemptuous insult again. This is but one small illustration of why conservative purists lose debates and lose elections.

Trump (and his cultists) are far worse at insulting their opponents than anything anyone else could possibly do. I would have assumed that it was the only way to get a Trump cultist to pay attention.

In any event, if Trump offers Cruz a SC (or even more so, VP), that will make it abundantly clear that he is a complete fraud.

And the Trump cultists won't care.
