I’m not a lawyer, but my understanding is that most offers of immunity stipulate that the witness must give truthful testimony. If the witness gives false testimony on the stand, not only is there the possibility of a perjury charge but the immunity deal is rescinded.

I agree, but I do not put it past this DOJ to deliberately screw up that codicil in the agreement.
