The scientist who likes both Bernie and Donald (48, California) Im very concerned about radical Muslims I moved to San Francisco from the UK in 2000. Im a citizen now and I voted for Obama. I am a closet Trump supporter and I havent told any of my friends or co-workers. They would think of me as a meat-head if they knew.
The funny thing is that I like Trump and Sanders, and theres no party or politician for me.

My daughter is the same way. She will be just barely too young to vote in November but some of her friends will be old enough. Both she and that say it is Sanders (first) and Trump (second). They do not want Hillary.
Of course they are all idealistic about Sanders, but they are very young and have time to mature. At least they are smart enough to understand that Hillary would be a very bad choice. This gives me hope.
Yes, same as Trump.
This is too funny. If I can’t elect basically a Commie I’m going to vote for a Uber-Capitalist!-)
People are looking for a disrupter. We’ve been running this country under the same paradigm for the last 40 years, guided by Dems and Pubs who serve the elite and nobody else. Enough is enough.
No I disagree. In upstate NY, I hear there are a few.
Sounds like wonderful news, what’s the problem?
That would be an issue with Cruz (I am a supporter). The media and many of his backstabbing GOPe “colleagues” have spent years painting him like that. Also, his slavish Goldmine Sacks mentality on H1-b visas would hurt him.
Nope you mixed Trump up with Cruz. Ted Cruz lies through his Canadian teeth.
This means that these folks are ANTI-HILLARY and there are probably many more out there that aren't necessarily Trump supporters, but who'll vote for ANYONE opposing Madam Benghazi.
In California, I hear there are a few in San Diego. In fact I believe the owner of FR lives in California.
How do we know these people weren't really Bernie supporters who were just saying they were Trumpeteers?
That's exactly what so many here don't understand. Ideological purity is a losing proposition. I want a leader, a pragmatist who can think and move on his feet, not someone bound with the heavy chains of ideology. I'd prefer someone who's instincts are conservative. But we NEED someone who's guiding philsophy is to put America first!
Trump will win a large majority of Republicans and Independents and probably 20% or more of democrats. Blue collar dems are likely to show up for him as well as others, disillusioned by the prospect of a Hillary win.
I never much cared what the “in crowd” thought back in high school either. My Dad taught me to be “master of my fate, and captain of my soul.” That motto has always saved me from being a herd animal.
The stupidity is strong with this one, Obi Wan.
Thank God we get to mature! My first presidential vote was for Jimmy Carter. My second was for Ronald Reagan.
People willing to consider Sanders OR Trump are focusing on Nationalism vs Globalism instead of Conservative vs Liberal.
If Globalism wins for long enough, Conservative vs Liberal won’t matter, because we will lose our culture, our jobs and our sovereignty.
Globalism will inevitably lead to socialism as a “cure” for the inequality that globalism creates.
The basis of the inequality is that American workers and small businesses lose out when global corps export jobs to 3rd world countries.
You’ve been cheated by someone else. Your misery is not your fault; it’s because bad people have done this to you. I will get the bad people but you must follow me. I am your leader, come with me and we will be happy like we were in ancestral memory. Vote Trump/Sanders 2016
Actually, Sanders identifies some of the major problems polluting DC, his solutions are just bassackward (socialist) though.
They also seem to think you can turn around 100+ years of progressivism in one election.
