Thing I don't understand is this:

Trump has increased the Republican party with voters to overtake any time in history, in 2008, the Democrat party did this with Obuma, and the Republicans were saying they sure wished they had a candidate that could do this..

Right now we have a Republican candidate that is bringing in over 3 million new voters to the party and all the Republicans can do is complain about their front runner, who by the way is the ONLY reason that 3 million new voters are coming on board and they can't find a way to get rid of him soon enough...

Has it every occurred to anyone the reason this is happening is because this election is NOT being run by any one other than THE AMERICAN VOTER? I guess not, if this had been anybody other than Trump this election would be OVER....

Best I can understand it the GOP and the Dems are a uni-party. The choice is just slightly different. Things the parties really disagree with are never acted upon. The the backers who give money to both sides generally don't care who wins. So if the GOP loses or wins - they don't care.

Why are you convinced that those 3 million new voters are going to stay in the party?

The political spectrum within my circle of political interaction is pretty broad. The only new Republican voters I have conversed with are Democrats. I have not interacted with a single conservative who hasn’t voted Republican consistently. I have not conversed with a libertarian who hasn’t voted at least once for a Republican presidential candidate.

I participated in Operation Chaos in 2008 to vote for Hillary against Obama in the Texas primary because McCain had already clinched the nomination. I was elected as a delegate at my precinct to caucus for Hillary at the district caucus. During that process, I met lots of libtards, quite a few of whom still keep in contact with me to discuss politics. Some of them are now Trump supporters, but they are not conservatives and will not stay in the Republican party.

I also know several libtards who have never, ever voted in a presidential election and are in their late 30’s and early 40’s. They love the Big Dawg. No, they worship him. Hillary? They can’t stand her. So they voted - for the first time in their lives - for Trump. They’re not conservative and won’t stay in the Republican party.

And I don’t want any of them to stay in the party because their values and their input into the party platform will move the party to the left. There was a proposition on my ballot regarding mandatory union dues:

“Texas should prohibit governmental entities from collecting dues for labor unions through deductions from public employee paychecks.”

Guess how those libtards voting in the Republican primary voted on that one? And on asserting states’ rights? And on penalizing sanctuary cities?
