"The great thing about this plan is everyone’s tax bill, which will be lower, can be filled out on the back of a post card. Just think how many billions of dollars that will save individuals and small business owners in fees to accountants and tax-preparation companies. That’s money saved which can be put to more productive, job-creating things."

I have a steel trap mind.

They’ve talked about pools before.

It is not insurance if you can choose to not buy it until you need it. That is welfare. The only way Donald Trump is going to make sure that pre-existing conditions are covered is to either force everyone into the pool (Obamacare) or provide welfare to people who wait until they need insurance before they buy it.

Frankly the Federal Government has no constitutional authority to do either.

The government has no business being in the health insurance business.

I don’t care how good the plan is.

***

Except to prevent crime and fraud, I would agree with you.

However, we’ve already kind of passed the point where it’s at all possible—barring complete national collapse—to kick government entirely out, at least not in one go. In my opinion, this is a really big step in the right direction.

Not in a million years. I’d be happier than a clown if Cruz wins. I’ll crawl on my knees over broken glass to vote for the Republican nominee over Clinton or Sanders.

But I’m seeing a lot of Cruz supporters joining the GOPe RINOs in saying they’d vote for Hillary over Trump. That’s sheer lunacy. Voting for a known traitor is treason as far as I’m concerned.

no American has to die (meaning anywhere - in the street, in their bed, in the train station, etc.) just because they cannot afford any kind of health insurance.

Health insurance is not health care.

Which other candidate, other than Trump, has even ran a business...a worldwide business, at that....and has come in under budget and ahead of schedule?

Romney.

Been so long since I took a pill I don't even remember what it was. Trump's Make Foreigners Great Again drug plan is about much more than aspirins.

I suspect that the pre-existing conditions thing will be kept. Not because it’s a good thing, but because once Obamacare is dumped (Lord willing), pretty much every condition will be pre-existing because we’re starting afresh, and it would be a nightmare trying to get it sorted out otherwise.

But don’t quote me on that; that’s just my personal prediction.

And furthermore, the state owns your house to pay back medicaid when you die.

People don't die in the street. Hospitals, by law, have to help them...usually on the taxpayers dime.

BTW, if people did die in the street, I'm still not responsible. if some do gooder wants to help by donating his money, that's up to him.

I didn't put the person on the street and I should not be forced into charity.

You don't like that? Then YOU pay for the people dying in the streets and leave me out of it.

TRump: I just want to say, I agree with that 100 percent, except pre-existing conditions, I would absolutely get rid of Obamacare.

The whole purpose of “Obamacare” was to force insurance companies to cover everyone and specifically to cover pre-existing conditions. But that will not work economically unless everyone in the United States is forced onto the insurance roles. So how is Trump going to make sure that people who want to buy insurance after they come down with some prohibitively expensive chronic condition can get it unless he somehow either forces everyone into the pool or gives huge subsidies to Insurance Companies?

Just askin. >>> many solutions one is health insurance becomes insurance. like your car. no oil changes covered. just when you get sick and go to hospital. that is insurance. two not an employee benefit like the socialists made under FDR. you pay for it you carry it and when you get sick they pay for it can’t cancel it. they actuarially handle the risk. number three now you can set up high risk pools. partly subsidized. this country is never going to go back to any rational financial system. when %90 of the population can’t spell it. when the government took over charities to handle these situations, that was the end of our republic.

Sheesh. This proposal gets the government OUT!

Really?

"The third bullet point goes on to say that "we must make sure no one slips through the cracks simply because they cannot afford insurance" and that "we must review basic options for Medicaid and work with states to ensure that those who want healthcare coverage can have it."

Sounds like big government involvement to me.

But that's just me.

Like I asked before, are you deliberately lying or simply just misinformed?

When Trump mentioned a “mandate”
he was not talking about an individual mandate to purchase health insurance,
he was talking about a mandate for insurance companies to cover pre-existing conditions.

This has been posted on FR 100 times and you still don’t believe it.

ARE YOU OFF YOUR MEDS OR SOMETHING?!

You’re looking RIGHT at the plan that says ‘Repeal Obamacare entirely’ and you’re screaming that Trump won’t do it!

NOT TO MENTION MORE THAN FIVE EXCLAMATION MARKS IS THE SIGN OF AN INSANE MIND!!!!!
