I'm hearing some rather interesting noises from certain friends in Europe. First it was an uneasy laughter - this guy is a clown, right? Then Paris, then Cologne, and suddenly they aren't laughing anymore. Their establishment is, on the surface, just as derisive and arrogant as ours is, as ever, but underneath it they're sweating, and they ought to be.
In this country it's very simple. The GOPe will come to terms or else. They're not driving anymore and the smarter among them recognize that fact. The stupid, we may not have to worry about much longer.

It is why America is great. We are unafraid to challenge the establishment. Europe doesn’t quite get how to do that, after centuries of centralized subordination. But maybe the smart ones can learn the lesson.
