In Florida since you have to be registered in your party to vote in the primary, I plan to Vote for Trump in the primary on the 15th then go and register independent. The GOP can kiss my backside!
My thought as well. More than likely going independent
It would be my hope that we could take over the GOP rather than leaving it, just as the hard left took over the democrat party. If that can be done, we get the party apparatus, automatic line on the ballot, etc. These would be useful if put in the service of actual conservatism.

Having grown up Republican for most of my life, it was a sad day when I registered Independent when I moved here to FL. The Republican Party had changed so much, they just disgusted me to the point I did not want to be a part of the group.
I switched back to the Republican Party ONLY to vote for Mr. Trump.
BUT, knowing that Karl Rove was HAPPY that we conservatives left “his” party, making things easier for him, I will NOT change back! I plan on staying there just to piss him off.
