Excellent right now on how gov’t bureacracy and regulations are impeding economic activity.

He’s making the great point that what we need is not a president who does a bunch of things. What we need is less gov’t, to let people be free to fully engage in economic activity.

So he concludes our economic problem is not primarily a trade deal problem. The problem is an over-regulating gov’t.

Not to say you don’t need sensible trade policies. But that’s not where the main problem is.

Owning and running a lg Family Farm for 22yrs, I saw it happen in the ag-hort industry, often. The fed and state EPA, Ag Dept, BLM, DER, DNR, ACoE and others were detriments terrible to deal with, and put a lot of farms, nurseries etc out of business for senseless regs.
