“....birther nonsense....” is a pejorative term meant to silence people who question real concerns over a person’s Constitutional eligibility. These people are NOT birther ‘nuts’ as you imply. Constitutionalist is a much more accurate/descriptive term.
So is to hold someone to Constitutional standards now ‘confrontational?’
NBC is the human equivalent of a pedigree in the canine world.
To be an NBC you must be 100% American, just as a pedigreed dog must have BOTH parents of the same breed. Cruz cannot possibly meet that requirement. He is the equivalent of a canine mongrel/mutt because of his Cuban Father and American Mother. There is no other possibility. No NBC pedigree for Mr. Ted. Is he a US citizen??? Probably...
You may want to rethink your support of either Cruz, (or Rubio who has a similar problem).

I failed to achieve what I set out to do, which was erase the politics for a moment, yet still reveal enough so that my enjoyment of the wit could be appreciated.
It certainly wasn't meant to confirm or deny my opinion about the eligibility issue surrounding Ted Cruz. Thus my impression that you were confrontational. I just wanted it to be a non-issue for the post.
