If Trump is one vote short on the first ballot, all of the delegates can change their votes. So, the powers get in the back room and talk the other candidates into backing Romney. I doubt very seriously enough of the delegates will do what they’re told.

The powers need to learn to add. Trump and Cruz will have enough delegates to STOP them. Not the other way around.

I don’t see how the GOPe can steal the nom from Trump if he has the most delegates without sparking the end of the GOP. Not after this campaign. Not after we’ve been spit on by the GOPe. Trump will walk and half or more of the GOP base will go with him.
