He won 7 out of 11 and was expected to win more. He also came within 3% of losing 3 other states. Trump was supposed to win Alaska by 10%. That didn't work out so well either. The best thing Trump has going for him is the crowded field. If it was a two man race, or even a three person race, everything would change.
