What I find very troubling is that you, mkjessup, among others, have posted so much in-your-face gloating and vitriol towards any on this board who you deem to oppose Trump that it has created an very unkind and unappealing site.

Well Obadiah, you may not like my posts, and that is your privilege, however I maintain that my posts are appropriate and more importantly proportional to the nonstop (to quote JimRob) "anti-Trump bilgewater 24/7 every damned day" and if the anti-Trump crowd wants to dial it back a notch, they won't catch any grief from me. There are individual FReepers to which I make no adversarial comments at all, because I know where they stand, they know where I stand, and we essentially agree that needless bickering is not productive. (example: my good implement tossing FRiend, aka 'Axeslinger' who is NO friend of Trump, lol).

However the vast majority of Trump-haters on this site have de-evolved to the lowest common denominator, poster 'butterdezillion' seems to have a fetish about comparing Trump to Hitler, Cincinnatus Wife is notorious for posting anti-Trump screeds from the early morning hours to whenever it is she signs off for the day. Then there is ETL (aka 'The Masked Spammer') who infers that any FReeper supporting Trump is mentally unbalanced, plasters threads with massive copy-and-paste specials of material which has been previously posted countless times before, and then lambastes anyone who doesn't take an hour or more out of their day to wade through all that overly verbose material. Then you have 'Chauncey Uppercrust' whose tagline at last report proclaimed that 'Jesus Is For Cruz' and claims that Ted Cruz is 'God's Chosen Candidate'. That isn't rational discourse, that is moonbat behavior.

And those above mentioned posters are just a small sampling of the kind of anti-Trump frenzy that has been sweeping through FR.

I have to admit, I am offended by JimRob’s comments. If he and others wish to purge FR then that is their call. Those of us have supported FR for many years will leave if asked.

Your sentiment above explains why you would be offended by my commentary, because like Jim, Ted Cruz was my first choice for the nomination long before Trump got into the race. I agreed with, and I endorsed our Founder's position which was that it was "Cruz or Trump, all the others are amnesty pimps", however I was just as dismayed as anyone by what can only be described as a series of massive campaign screw ups by Cruz, the worst being his embrace of and association with that maniac Glenn Beck, who quite frankly would be *zotted* within 24 hours if he ever dared to show up here on this website. The boy isn't right in the head, and I challenge anyone to dispute that.

Now if you should choose to leave FR, nobody is going to slam the door on you, even the rabid libbylu, who recently cursed us all out with a profane Opus, headed over to whatever that 'other' website-blog is ('constipated conservatives? who knows?) where she and like minded misfits unleashed their hate directed at FR, at JimRob, actively advocated the curtailing of contributions during this Freep-a-thon, but for reasons known only to God and JimRob, she was allowed to return to FR where she is posting even today, so any exit you or those sharing your views choose to make, nothing is permanent.

thx for the ping and kind words...i’m sure there are some here (the same ones I ask questions of who then refuse to answer and launch into personal attacks that are not pertinent to the subject at hand.) who would disagree with your characterization of me! :)

Re: last night and any gloating you may or may not have been doing. I will only offer this olive branch to all the trumpeters...beware how much you gloat...as long as Rubio stays in, Trump is in the drivers seat. As soon as he is out...well, lets just say all that gloating may come back to bite you in the posterior.
