Game over! This was a rout, America. Winning seven states and the vast majority of delegates is a landslide. Donald Trump and the millions of his supporters have changed American politics and the Republican Party for the foreseeable future.
The nomination is within his grasp and if he does what he said he would do Tuesday night: "[I will] be a unifier!" he may be a very viable candidate against Hillary Clinton in the fall.
After his victories Tuesday night in multiple states and his second place finish in others , Trump is in an unstoppable position. Whether the junior senators from Texas and Florida choose to pursue him, it doesnt matter, the end is near.
Trump, who is an unconventional candidate, to say the least, has tapped into the anger and frustration across America and has mobilized voters to turn out in record numbers.
Love him or hate him, be inspired by him or be appalled by him, Trump has totally dominated a political cycle like no other politician Ive seen in decades.
I admit I was a total skeptic, like many others.
At first, I didnt think he would run.
Then I thought there was no way he could beat the all-star cast of elected officials running against him.
Then I underestimated his lack of substance and trite answers in the debates.
Then I was convinced the political establishment was going to spend millions and take him out. And like the Energizer bunny he just keeps going and winning!
Trump is getting stronger by the day and his supporters are locked in and not going away. And no one has mastered the media like this since Teddy Roosevelt and his rough riders.
What's ahead is a Republican Party that either becomes part of his movement or splinters

Did you get a chance to hear Trump declare (3-1/2 years ago) that we can't send illegals home - it would be inhumane?
Chameleon.
Did Cruz donate money to Hillary? to Harry Reid?
Ask Trump's wives if he can be trusted.
...just sayin'
Ask Trump's investors (airline, university...casinos) if Trump can be trusted.
Was Cruz a registered Democrat (twice)?
Trump truly is the vacillator-in-chief.
Trustworty?
FAIL
Cruz has flip-flopped on immigration. He's flipped on TPA/TPP and he signed the Corker bill. He's a disaster in the making.
Clearly you are for Hillary.
Do you REALLY want to compare flipping combs?
‘Cause I’m ready... I only scratched the surface in my last post to you.
As a sitting senator, once you flip-flop, I'm done with you. Just another back-stabbing lifetime politician.
He all but has
But he keeps winning....
Or so he tells us...
Why would Cruz drop out when he’s only 90 delegates behind Trump???
And I’ve seen many people say that a vote for Trump now is a vote for Hillary in the General.
Maybe we should get it right now, so we don’t have to worry about it then....
Reagan won almost all of them....How did that RIGHT WINGER do it???
Accomplishments???
Like protecting U.S. Sovereignty against a sitting President??? AND WINNING!!
Protecting the 2nd amendment AND WINNING!!
Religious freedoms...yea major accomplishment there too.
Fighting for the rights of Veterans and WINNING!! Yep...
Being the key player in stopping amnesty and illegals from becoming citizens with the whole gang of 8 debacle!!
Yea, he’s done more by himself to protect the constitution and the country than most of those jackholes in Washington put together. New York too!
Again might I suggest DU or even HuffPo for your political commentary? They are the go-to sites for your clear left wing ideologies?
I have not insulted you, until now, clearly I see some delusion bordering on paranoia in your comments and interpretation of mine.
Cruz simply cannot win FL and OH in the general, he surely is the most conservative, there just are not enough hard core conservative voters to elect him.
Therefore my comment on voting for Cruz is like voting for Hillary is accurate in that if is Cruz as our nominee, Hillary will be Prez.
The media, GoPe, Dems, and clear thinking Freepers know this.
Think.
This country has been taking it up the rear with no lube for a decade, and you and millions others have grown accustomed to it and now think it wise to say "Yes please, I can take more."
Think.
I want to beat the known evil, Hillary and her accomplices the GoPe.
Yes Trump is a risk, but no one can honestly say he’ll be worse than Clinton or not better than Cruz.
Trump has spoken strongly on immigration and is the only candidate to correctly recognize the greatest threat to us the average Joe’s, open borders and worsening economic situation, because of free, but not fair trade deals.
Our trade deals are great deals for 3rd world labor, corporations, and politicians, but lousy deals for the majority of working class Americans. After all can we really get ahead, cutting each others grass.
These trade deals with 3rd world labor; Asian and Latin American countries, whom unlike Europe and the U.S. do not bear the cost of labor due to their lack of regulation and social welfare systems and are crushing the average American. Leaving U.S. workers in a state of near $10 an hour serfdom, surviving on Payday loans. This will only get worse with the TPP deal. Solution tariffs for all goods coming from these countries, creating fair trade, and a fair wage in the U.S., no incentive for corporate manufactures to leave the U.S.
All other issues (abortion, 2nd amend..) are secondary, because without the numbers(voters) (slow immigration), who identity with at least moderately conservative ways of thinking and recognize these same politicians, understand, and are taking real action to improve lives thru economic policy which put Americans first, the slow tide of collectivism will continue to creep over us year after year.
Therefore, slow immigration, and prove to Americans the candidate sees their interest over corporate or party interest, or those secondary issues which really aren’t secondary at all, will be forever caste in a liberal/communistic stone.
8 years of Hillary, with the same Obama immigration policies, and candidates like Bernie Sanders will be main stream.
I don’t see how Cruz can win FL and OH, and I don’t see how Trump can win the Presidency without Cruz’s support.
I also fail to get past the video of trump calling republicans the stupidest bunch of voters. He could say anything and they would lap it up.
We don't need another brash talker. We need a doer.
This might seem nit-picky, but I fail to see the 2nd amendment as a secondary issue.
