Trump Is Now Unstoppable. It's Game Over For Cruz, Rubio, Kasich And Carson
foxnews.com ^ | March 1 | Ed Rollins

Game over! This was a rout, America. Winning seven states and the vast majority of delegates is a landslide. Donald Trump and the millions of his supporters have changed American politics and the Republican Party for the foreseeable future.

The nomination is within his grasp and if he does what he said he would do Tuesday night: "[I will] be a unifier!" he may be a very viable candidate against Hillary Clinton in the fall.

After his victories Tuesday night in multiple states and his second place finish in others , Trump is in an unstoppable position. Whether the junior senators from Texas and Florida choose to pursue him, it doesn’t matter, the end is near.

Trump, who is an unconventional candidate, to say the least, has tapped into the anger and frustration across America and has mobilized voters to turn out in record numbers.

Love him or hate him, be inspired by him or be appalled by him, Trump has totally dominated a political cycle like no other politician I’ve seen in decades.

I admit I was a total skeptic, like many others.

At first, I didn’t think he would run.

Then I thought there was no way he could beat the all-star cast of elected officials running against him.

Then I underestimated his lack of substance and trite answers in the debates.

Then I was convinced the political establishment was going to spend millions and take him out. And like the Energizer bunny he just keeps going and winning!

Trump is getting stronger by the day and his supporters are locked in and not going away. And no one has mastered the media like this since Teddy Roosevelt and his rough riders.

What's ahead is a Republican Party that either becomes part of his movement or splinters

Time to get real and admit, until ROE v. Wade is overturned abortions are going to be legal, period!

This is me if the SCOTUS is America's chamber of infallible gods, demanding child sacrifice, socialism and the sanctity of sodomy, unchallenged by the vestigial and impotent branches of government.

NeverTrump

Losing graciously is one thing...

Learning how to “win” is another altogether.

You all might want to stop and think about the fact that in the upcoming election, you will need these “Cruzers”. Trying to rub their noses in it reflects poorly.

And besides, once this election is over, FR will still be here. The question is; do any of you want it to be nothing more than an echo chamber because of the rancorous language and behavior that has caused many to go silent?

I favor splintering

It's not worth it's salt.

I was really surprised how many votes came in for ALL the candidates. Early voting netted Bush, Christie, Graham, Fiorina and the others who’ve dropped out hundreds/thousands of votes collectively.

Trump needs to skip the next debate. Nobody will watch it without him. Have huge rallies in Florida. If he wins Florida, Ohio doesnt matter. Kasich can have it. Trump also needs to win Michigan.

That won't work anymore. SuperPACs will just hammer him for it, and Cruz will gain. He needs to be more prepared at debates. He was pathetic against a Rubio assault that was telegraphed.

MANY, MANY more Cruz supporters say they will NEVER vote Trump so what are you suggesting????

Up to the convention, it's fine to support Cruz all you want, and be enthusiastic for your guy.

After the convention, any advocating of "We should prefer a Hillary win than (Republican candidate)" becomes pro-Democrat agitation.

Depending on your state any GOP vote may be irrelevant.

Like here in WA for instance.

The product is the voters. Not the Candidate.

The customers are the ones who want to influence the power structure.

Some words of wisdom for you to consider this morning:

“If Trump eventually turns out to be our nominee, my position could then very well be: all those who would rather let Hillary take the presidency should probably post elsewhere. Not silencing them, but they can post their diatribes on some other forum. RedState would probably be happy to take them on.

I am getting pretty sick of the same couple dozen people continuously posting their anti-Trump bilgewater 24/7 every damned day and stirring up endless flamewars.

This will end. That I promise you.

The only rancorous language is coming from the Cruzers. The handwriting is on the wall. But in the unlikely event it is not, I know I will pull the lever for the eventual nominee. Cruzer’s will not. I love a heated debate but the smut coming from Rubio’s mouth and lies Cruz is blathering goes beyond civility.

So come out with it! Hillary or Trump? A vote for Cruz will be a vote for Hillary. Can’t you figure that out?

Anyway, we are all evil! Did you skip that part of the lecture in church or are you the “pure” one?

After saying Rubio could easily close the gap in FL, Marc Thiessen just said “We can still deny this nomination to Donald Trump”.

When Trump secures 1,237 Delegates, the you can then bring on the Fat Lady.

At this point Trump has about 25% of what he needs.

Do not give up hope many many people changed their voting party in MA. They can still do this in Florida, and other states!!! We will see!!!

But Trump needs to TELL people to do it. Run ads as well.

——Trump needs to skip the next debate.

Megyn is going to bust out so many out of context videos during the debate, most likely from when he was a much younger man, she is going to attempt to skewer him dead on the spot.

This is the GOP’s last attempt to kill Trump. It will be branding him as a racist that should be thrown out of the party (which we are almost there) and the Kelly debate to bring him down.

I think he can handle it, but it could inflict heavy damage.

Already, everyone has the racist talking points going 24/7. If they brand him that way, it may start to stick. I would have thought it would have been over, but today I turn on the news and it’s still all over cable TV, I turn on the radio, and it’s all over the radio still, and just a few posts ago I read even golf magazine is wanting the PGA to pull out of Trump out because they are branding him a racist.

This is a full on “Trump is a racist” blitz, which would give the GOP what they would perceive to be a legitimate reason to broker a convention (we cannot have a racist represent us, or some such nonsense).

We’ll see in a couple of days how this plays out after the debate, but I expect some well aimed shots on this subject from Megyn during the debate.

He may do well to skip it, I really don’t know.
