Romney has about as much chance of beating Trump for the nomination as Cruz or Rubio at this point. Probably much less.
However, if he plays nice, there might be a cabinet position in his future.

They talked about if Trump doesn’t get the number of delegates needed on the first round of votes at the convention, as in not having them going in, it can go to a second round of voting then the delegates that he did have from each state are then free to vote for whomever they want after the 1st round goes down.
