CALLER: Thanks for taking my call. Just as a... You know, you have always led us conservatives through some pretty dark times. And there were few places to turn. You never let us down. You always gave us perspective and truth. So I just kind of wanted to say that. But to get to my point, you know, last week you were discussing Trump and the way he talked about "we have to get rid of the lines around the state" during the debate. Well, I have a different take on that. Not only did he say it that way -- and you suggested it was because of his advisors that were kind of, you know, doing a tutorial for him for interstate insurance commerce.
And then also, the thing that bothers me is that when he comments regarding his and the Democrats touchback program -- which is theoretically what it is when he said we're going to do: Send them back and let the good ones back in -- you know, Trump isn't this inarticulate. I think he does it to dumb down his speech. I think he does it to mislead and not have to give explanations. And it keeps his comments kind of on the remedial side. And that's how I look at this. I know it's different from what you think, but it's how I feel. I think he's talking to a base that he doesn't have a lot of confidence in.

My understanding is that Trump doesn’t hob-nob with the rich and famous as much as he hangs out with the average Joe. according to his son, he prefers everyday average people.
I hope this lady is able to let go of her cynicism..I can’t blame her for it, it’s understandable in the deceptive climate we’ve been drowning in for years...
Trump doesn’t talk over the heads of the average person. Simply. He wants to be understood by all. And sometimes he does speak in a more educated manor. I do the same thing depending on who I’m relating to. It’s a kindness.

I am going to relish this and be a bad winner tomorrow when Cruz takes a mudhole stomping tonight. Many of us are sick of the philosophical bullies in our movement, telling us that purism and bumper sticker politics are the only way to save the Republic. Ted Cruz is the problem, not the answer, you guys don’t see that but we’ll drag your dead bodies across the finish line anyway.
Tell us where Trump was wrong about Jeb. Or Rubio for that matter. Tell us. We wait with bated breath.
