Exactly. The primaries on Saturday are all closed primaries. Trump doesn’t do as well in closed primaries since Dems are more reluctant to switch party affiliations to be able to vote there. I would not be shocked to see Cruz have a big day on Saturday, especially if he can successfully drive home the narrative that he is the only alternative to Trump.
Trumpkins will say it’s only tiny Alaska, but a state is a state. That would be 4 states for Ted. The narrative starts to grow from there.
Do tell. Source?
Also, it shouldn’t even be close with Palin’s endorsement. But it appears the voters of Alaska have realized what a media whore and dumbass she is.
Yeah, that’s a scary thought Cruz having a big day Saturday.
But Trump has a wide coalition and that offends a lot of Republican purists so I agree, closed primaries are harder for Trump.
Which states are on sat? Great pt.
The only path Cruz had was the south. Since that didn’t happen, he only remains for one purpose, to keep Trump from getting 1237 delegates. Given that strategy, his only hope is a brokered convention, which would still leave him out.
For now, it does benefit Trump to have multiple candidates.
