I take it you aren’t paying attention to our 20 trillion deficit, and the humongous unfunded deficit -varies between 100 trillion and 200 trillion, depending on which bean-counter is doing the counting.
Have you been reading about the banks deciding to go to negative interest rates, or the .gov toying with the idea of taking our retirement funds?
Have you checked the Baltic dry index stats lately, or the 20% unemployment rate? Hoe about the food stamp rates compared to the ,gov employment silliness?
I wish I had a small farm, and were young enough to work it. Alas, my adult children cannot wrap their head around the concept that “just-in-time” inventory at their local upscale supermarket isn’t a God-given entitlement.
