I know youre upset that your guy is going to lose. We all felt that way in 2008 and 2012, both in the primary and general election.
I see this whole election as choosing a new captain of the titanic. I’m not concerned that Trump is doing so well. Rather, I’m terribly disappointed in my conservative brethren. They are falling into the same trap the Obama supporters fell into in 2008.
And you say “life goes on”. Yes it does. Watch Dr. Zivago. Watch The Pianist. Life does, indeed, go on. But to think we are immune to the mistakes of other Godless societies is a grave error.
And I am not beating myself up. I would be if I had not moved from Seattle to my farm in KY back in 2011. I’m just sorely disappointed in my brethren. But then, that is what people do - prove why Christ had to give his life for us. Every single one of us.

When we become a Godless society ourselves (and we are almost/maybe already there), we will indeed make the mistakes of other Godless societies.
Thank you for this post!! You spoke to my heart.
We most definitely are picking a Captain for the Titanic and it will sink. I am so THANKFUL for my relationship to Jesus Christ which is a solid , sure foundation.
I truly see no difference in any of the candidates with the exception of Ted Cruz. Democrats and Republicans are alike now.
