The problem is that the Trump supporters don’t see that the labels fit. At least, they are acting in a mindless lockstep just as Obama supporters did in 2008.
They refuse to see it.
And here is the sad part:
I’ve been here since 1998 and argued with liberals on other sites since 2005. In all that time, the only people on FR that argue like liberals have been rabid animal rights activists.
Until now. Arguing with trump supporters is like arguing with liberals. It is very telling. And if my hope was not in the Lord, and in the fate of my nation, I would be living my life in terror for the future right now.
But it’s not. So I’m good. Bring it.
I don’t have a clue as to what you’re talking about.
Going to condemn us to Hell too, are you?
After a little preening this morning, I told myself that I was going to try not to go over the top with gloating tonight.
You and your holier-than-thou whinging are making it REALLY hard to keep on board with that.
Well said
I started out with Carson. The most vicious attack postings came 95% from Team Cruz. They ran a wholly negative attack campaign here from the start. Anyone not their guy who was ahead of them got slimed, relentlessly, daily.
Cannot throw those sorts of punches and not expect people to punch back.
Wow! Calling Trump supporters rabid. Good job there! I agree - we should elect a “true conservative.” Please, just tell us what you think true conservative principles are - a short list of half a dozen will do - and then tell us which candidate embodies those principles. I bet a $25 donation to FR that the rabid dog here is going to turn out to be you.
been here longer than you, cuban, and I see it very differently.
I see what has happened to our country with the neocon world globalists running the show. I do not “worship” Trump the way some of the Cruz supporters do their “leader”.
I just want to save what is left of our country, and am not sure that is even possible at this point in our decline. I do know that Cruz isn’t going to get it done, or even if he wants to.
We are so close to the abyss, and most of us don’t enjoy thinking about it.
“The problem is that the Trump supporters dont see that the labels fit. At least, they are acting in a mindless lockstep just as Obama supporters did in 2008. They refuse to see it.”
Here’s a clue: we find demeaning comments like that as tiresome and boorish as when they come from the hard Left.
Who oddly enough share with you a similarly high estimation of their own superiority as they sneer at the rubes getting suckered by Trump.
