Did Christ eat steak dinners and smoke cigars with Roman senators and Jewish Pharisees as they discuss how to best placate the plebeians?
No! He exposed their lies and deceits to the multitude: "The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat. Therefore whatever they tell you to observe, that observe and do, but do not do according to their works; for they say, and do not do. For they bind heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers."

Well, good morning, Preacher.
Are you just early, or are the rest of the trolls off on another assignment?

Since the tobacco plant wasn't known, he coiuldn't smoke cigars, but if tobacco was known in theory lets say, who knows if Jesus would.
That said, It is a nonissue. Rush said he listened, but he DISAGREED with them.
