I'm defending Rush and the thread, in case you didn't notice. I'm not complaining about Rush's show.
It was good to hear Rush stick up for Cruz and tell that caller that Cruz is not a liar.
Rush off his gourd with the Cruz lying thing.
A caller was telling him PRECISELY why many people don’t trust Cruz and Rush is in denial like every other Cruzer.
“He didn’t do it.” Well, I looked at the Breitbart timeline posted earlier today, and Cruz absolutely did keep tweeting out “big changes in Carson campaign” or similar statements WELL after it had been confirmed that Carson was not dropping out.
Now, as I’ve said before, to me this is normal “dirty” politics. I have no problem with it. But you cannot run as the “holy man of God” and engage in this stuff. It just doesn’t fly. Rush isn’t getting this.
Rush swallowed the kool aid about Carson and Cruz. CNN reported that Carson was going to Florida..basically. The CRUZ team CHANGED it to “Carson is getting out of the race...vote for Cruz instead instead.” That’s a dirty trick designed to get Carson voters. And if Rubio did it then it’s still a dirty trick.
I wondered how you would respond to that. Thank you for your service.

It was good to hear that caller was from Texas and is not voting for Cruz because of his dirty trick in Iowa. Rush said no problem what Cruz did there, it was chump change. So what’s the big deal? So he stole a couple of votes.

In fact, Cruz’s people did tell a fib. He was forced to apologize and ended up in a closet with Carson which “didn’t end well.”

He told his last caller that Cruz was honorable, trustworthy, has NOTHING TO DO with this rotten corrupt system.

I have to say that was one of the most incredible things I have ever heard.
I have been listening to Rush since 1994 roughly, and that blew my mind.

Wow, you could not be more wrong in your assessment of those especially here on free republic who support Donald Trump. I don’t speak for others only myself.
1. I agree with Trump on Trade and the need to bring jobs back from overseas.
2. I support Trump on putting education back to State levels.
3. I agree with Trump on borders and building the wall.
4. I like what Trump has stated on 2nd Amendant.
I won’t vote for an establishment candidate. Won’t happen. 0 chance. Trump has not lied to me that I know of. He has not broken promises to me, yet. He has not stabbed me in the back, yet. He has shown a willingness to fight, going so far as to self fund his campaign in order to stay be holding to no one other than the American voter.
I understand Trump isn’t your guy. That’s your choice but he is mine and I’ve attempted to politely state my reasons without insulting you or being condescending.
I’ll add:
5. Trump isn’t PC.
6. Trump isn’t afraid of the media.
7. Trump views winning as inevitable.

What did Ted Cruz lie about? His Team tweeted out Carson was leaving after CNN made a press release that he was going back to Florida. Ted then apologized for the mistake that his Team made. Where did Ted tell a lie?
