“Just what is a “Foam Party?””
I guess you could say it’s a fondling/petting orgy in a pool of foam and suds.
I can demonstrate it is not true. And I am used to the attacks from Trump supporters, so after all the “idiot Cruzbot” “traitor” “DU Hillary fan” and “establishment hack” comments I get regularly for daring to challenge Trump on issues or political views, it frankly didn’t register with me.
I have taken Cruz’s past into account. I have followed him as my Senator. I have called him out when I felt he was not keeping his campaign promise to me as a constituent.
Demonstrate your support for Trump. What is it rooted in? Is political past? His former positions? There is decades of public knowledge on Trump and his views. Where do they align with yours, and how long has he held the positions you do align with? Since his acknowledged 2013 preparation for this campaign, or before that?
I am prepared to learn something today. Explain why you believe Trump will keep his campaign promises based on his past words and deeds. Show me how he has demonstrated be acts on the principles he is espousing today. Like with the market, use the past to predict the future.
You didn’t read what I said.
My question is about the recent vote in S.Carolina where evangelicals were supportive of Trump. I think the Pope’s interference in our election by his comments on immigration were incindiary among a group that has decades of mistrust of the Catholic church and the influence of the Pope on our elections and government in particular. It raised the old ghost of Papal interference and teaching that John F. Kennedy supposedly laid to rest.
True, other GOP candidates are outspoken in their denunciations of illegal immigration, amnesty, and all the rest—but it was certainly Trump that brought this to the forefront of the campaign and most people read the Pope’s message as anti-Trump.
Therefore, the immediacy of the controversy created a backlash that played into the Trump campaign. I think many evangelicals may have changed their vote from Cruz to Trump in that short window.
Ditto that..............
