I’d join it, for sure!
I love almost anything from the later 30s to the mid-60s. Especially film noir, and romantic comedies. Well, I like any older comedies for that matter.
Currently, my favorite actor is Cary Grant, and I will always adore Barbara Stanwyck.
I adore Barbara Stanwyck. She just got more beautiful as she aged.
I hope that TCM will show some of the political movies, which would make a great start ( ADVISE AND CONSENT, SEVEN DAYS IN MAY, etc. ), but there's not much in March to see, so we'll have to hold off some on the movie club.
Just watched two Cary Grant movies, back to back, recently. An Affair to Remember and To Catch a Thief (w/Grace Kelly). Loved the locale and the wardrobes....oh, and the movies ;-)
