And codified in USC Title 8 Section 1401 - Nationals and Citizens of the United States.
Subsection G of that code states that a person born outside the US to one citizen parent, who meets certain other requirements, is a citizen at birth and does not need to be naturalized.
Further, Title 8 section 1101 - Definitions, subsection A part (23) defines naturalization as only occurring “after birth”.
Thus a person who is born a citizen and has never been naturalized is naturally born a citizen.
But, but, but, there are insistent blogs claiming otherwise.
It does become rather simple when you go to the legal documents and read it. Amazing that the argument lingers. Thanks.
