You need a bigger resume. Trump has that. Ted doesn’t have the experience. And he can be a pain in the ass.
Ted has an extensive resume’ of working for the conservative cause. As solicitor general of Texas he saved the 2nd and 1st Amendments. As senator he scuttled the gang of eight amnesty bill and inspired the TEA Party with his Obamacare filibuster to rise up and put a GOP majority in the Senate.
Granted the GOP leadership ignore the conservative base that gave them power but this too will end.
What has Trump done but TALK conservative while he ACTS liberal?
