There is NO NEED to defend conservatism because conservatism is based on immutable principles that cannot be destroyed. What DOES NEED to be defended are our God-given rights and that happens by defending our Republic.
Hes basically saying (as a few others are recently) that hed rather see the godless America-hating Marxist/fascist Hillary elected just to spite us.
I've been very open about the fact that I have some serious reservations about Trump, but I've never said I wouldn't vote for him. If the GOP loses in November it may very well mean the end of freedom as we've known it and it will mean the end of the GOP. Obama has emboldened Hillary to the point that there's no telling how destructive she will be.
Whoever the GOP nominates, we need to hold his feet to the fire from day one. He needs to have a stack of executive orders with him on January 20th and he needs to start signing them the moment he takes his hand off the Bible. The ONLY way to restore America is to make sure the President knows that he's working for We the People because the last four presidents never got that message.
Reminds me of the British POWs lovingly defending the bridge they built in the movie Bridge Over River Kwai. Hopefully, theyll wake up before its too late.
Jim, this has been the most divisive primary process in decades, the closest comparison was in 1932 when the Democrat establishment did everything possible to keep FDR from being nominated. However, the GOPe has hopefully figured out that back room deals will not be tolerated; if someone has enough votes for the nomination going into the convention, they will get it.
My hope is that this will all be resolved by March 15th and we should have a pretty clear picture later tonight who the eventual nominee will be. When that happens, I think it will be time for you to crack down on all of the anti-whoever threads.
Thanks, wagglebee. Well said.
God bless and keep you, dearest wagglebee.
