Yet the charge in the NY Times was NOT that Rush supported amnesty. It was that the talk hosts downplayed and mischaracterized the bill.
For example in the Times story, in 2013 Rush mischaracterized it by asking Rubio the softball, "So enforcement comes before amnesty, right?"
Enforcement NEVER came first!
He’s saying he posed it as a “guarantee” that they can’t vote.
That’s WAY different than “opposing amnesty” and also he should know there is absolutely NO way to ensure that “they won’t vote.” Silly.
