Why would he do that when everyone said he was in the tank for Cruz? I don’t get it. At different times, people keep saying he’s for one candidate, and then later another.
Saying someone is conservative, as he has with Cruz, does not translate to “Cruz or nothing.” Those are your words, not Rush’s.
Is he wrong? Is Cruz not more conservative than Trump, or for that matter, Rubio?
Is it an accurate description, though I admit there is no generally accepted definition of what it means to be conservative any longer.
Rush does go between Cruz and Rubio, Cruz more because he can make a better case with his audience. But the thrust of Rush’s shows anymore is anti-Trump, his rhetoric, his seminar callers, the whole bit.
And yes, Rush said if you’re a real conservative then you have to vote for Cruz. Not my words, his.
We are living in a strange landscape here.
It’s called Trumpville.
It’s a wonderful place. All our dreams will come true here. No more illegals. We will beat up all our enemies foreign and domestic until they are crying for their mamas.
The economy will improve ... not just improve but soar. And, by golly, we will show Mexico and China what they can do with their stuff.
Also, we will all get a raise or at least a job and maybe get a pony in the yard.
The only problem is all these people keep saying bad stuff about Trumpville.
They are so stupid, so moronic, we can’t seem to get rid of them and, so far, we can’t kill them.
