Why so enamored with a manufactured distraction, isn’t there anything you can say or do to bolster your candidate?
Why couldn’t your candidate remember the details of a person whom he disavowed only two days earlier?

Trump suggested that he did, in fact, like the quote:

“Do you want to be associated with a fascist?” Todd asked.
“No, I want to be associated with interesting quotes,” Trump replied.
“We do interesting things. And I sent out and certainly, hey, it got your attention, didn’t it?” he asked Todd.

Trump says over and over that he cannot release his tax returns “until the audit is finished.”
Since Trump hasn’t explained why this is so, and the press is too timid to ask, can anyone here explain exactly why this makes sense???
