Donald Trump blamed a “lousy earpiece” for why he claimed he didn’t know who David Duke was during a CNN interview on Sunday.
On NBC’s Today show Monday, Trump said he knows who Duke is (a former Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan who will vote for him), but claimed he never met him.
Trump also said he only didn’t know the white-supremacist groups that host Jake Tapper asked him about.
Nevertheless, Trump refused several opportunities to denounce the racists supporting him. On Sunday night, he tweeted that he disavowed their support.

I totally forgot who this loser was from 2000. I totally forgot that Fulani person also. I actually forgot that Trump was involved in the Reform party - which I think was the movement that started from the Ross Perot election.
David Duke moved to Russia I thought. — No he moved to Kiev, Ukraine and got a doctorate in Neo-Nazism or some such. I had to Google the name to remember who he was. He did jail time for fraud as a congressman, also.
OK, he has disavowed Duke and his supporters, the media still hasn't reported this.
It didn’t seem to interfere with the rest of the questions. Did it go bad during the David Duke question and work fine the rest of the time?
When your opponent shoots himself in the foot then proceeds to steady his nerves, take careful aim, and then shoot himself in the foot yet again what can you do but pass him more ammunition?

Trump disavowed Duke’s endorsement at the Christie presser also. I heard him say “I disavow”.
This whole thing is much ado about nothing just like the tax returns. IMO if Trump didn’t want it going on he would have shut it down by now. He likes to keep the media frothing at the mouth. LOL!
Hugh Hewitt on CNN just now has declared this Trump’s “Romney 47% moment”. Trump will surely go down now. (This on the same program that was displaying the CNN poll with Trump at 49%)
Another manufactured scandal by the media. They have nothing better to attack Trump about so they refer to this. Silly.
This is the liberal media hacks, with maybe allied RNC support, to take down Trump. The Anti Defamation league, A Jewish civil rights group, was the one demanding Trump denounce Duke. He had already done it on Friday. You think those guys don’t know that Trump’s son-in-law is Jewish and this is to be born grandchild is going to be raised Jewish.
The KKK historically has always been 1)anti Black, 2)anti Jewish and 3) anti Catholic.
I would think the Anti-defamation league has some hacks for Clinton that were trying to take down Trump I would not put it past the RNC to have coordinated this attack with the mainstream media. I don’t blame Trump, why get into a 5 minute discussion on the air about David Duke. It did in on Friday and did it back in 2000, and it is on the record.
Yeah, that's right up there with him not knowing what a gallon of milk costs in the store for knowledge my candidate must have to be POTUS.
Guess I'll have to vote Rubio now, who cares if he makes 30 million new democrat voters and destroys the nation?

I read somewhere yesterday that the reason Trump got out of the reform party was because this irrelevant non story idiot Duke was involved with the party too.

Trump seems to be the kind of guy who puts losers behind him and out of mind. This Duke was a loser - he went to jail and was not heard from again and Trump simply forgot about him like everyone else did.
I wonder if some PAC paid Duke to start this ball rolling? Trump was to be attacked for being endorsed by Duke regardless of disavowing him or not.
If a candidate has 20 people in their entire audience there is no story.
If a candidate has 20,000 people in their audience, some crackpot is going to be in that mix.
