It's not going to make much of a difference in terms of delegates if Cruz beat Trump by 10 points or loses by 10 points. It's a proportional state so both candidates will get a large share.
Cruz needs to win at least one more state so that he doesn't have to keep referring back to Iowa (which is now ancient history). Might as well at least win his own home state.
