Apparently, the Republican party isn't melting down fast enough for Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, so he's decided to speed the process along by telling Senators running for re-election that they can run ads against Donald Trump if they think it will do any good.
snip
Dear GOP Senators: You will lose more Republican votes by trashing Trump than you would gain. And Democrats who vote for Trump wouldn't vote for you anyway.
In short, you will only make yourself more vulnerable if you listen to idiot McConnell.
I've never heard the like of it. GOP politicians distanced themselves from Nixon right before he resigned, but has there ever been a case where politicians backed away from their own nominee for president? The GOP is dissolving right before our eyes and could collapse in a heap after the 2016 election debacle that's coming.
One good thing about Trump winning the nomination; McConnell will go back to being an obscure minority leader. Perhaps he'll even be pushed out. Then he can give his ridiculous political advice to Democrats.

Big mistake.....
I want to see President Trump humiliate the fool. On national TV.
I used to consider myself a republican. I know many others that feel the same way.
What Mitch and a few of his thug party leaders did in Mississippi to Chris McDaniel was the last straw to put on my back. I had seen more than enough but Mississippi was the last straw.
By the way, I don’t even live in Mississippi. It just exposed how corrupt and sorry they are. They would rather a democrat win than a conservative.
I vote conservative — not republican.
Once he gets the nomination and pulls away from Hilary they have know choice but to support him.
It’s ok to trash Mitch.
Thanks,Mitch sucks.
When will establishment Republicans admit that they created Trump by crapping on their own constituents? The party needs to reform or perish.
Here’s why, here’s the GOPe’s plans to rig the election, it reveals all.
Cutting off one’s nose to spite one’s face.
Yertle the Turtle does not understand that The Donald is the most potent force he has at his command, it is only necessary to embrace the force and work WITH it.
Or forever be placed in an ever-diminishing minority. But perhaps there is something comfortable about being a mediocrity.
Meet the Mrs. Mitch McConnell ...

I really dislike McConnell, but (in his defense) his job is to preserve his majority in the Senate. There are probably states that Trump (as the nominee) would not win in any case. For a GOP Senate candidate to embrace Trump in those states might be political suicide. So, from that perspective, I can understand what he is saying.
This piece of garbage needs to go
McConnell is trash.
I’m sure Harry Reid is saying the same thing when it comes to Hilary. Even after she gets indicted. Mitch is a little, little man.
Nice of Mitch to throw out his dirty remarks just before super Tuesday. I wonder if Mitch thinks it is okay for the Senators to trash Obama. I guess the Senators need the okay from Mitch to speak out!
Well, I guess my point about holding the Senate from the other thread gains a bit more vilidity, eh?
Here you have an opinion-shaper/Trump supporter openly hoping that the GOP loses the Senate, and a bunch of folks cheering him on.
Never mind that means they get the 5th vote on the Supreme Court. Never mind that means that the Second Amendment is toast. Mitch McConnell will be leading only a minority instead of a majority, and that's good enough.
Incredible.
