America is great - but her leaders have not been, including Himself and Her Highness.

..America is great - but her leaders have not been...

Liberal Presidents always claim to be of the people, but see themselves as American Royalty.

“America is great - but her leaders have not been, including Himself and Her Highness.”

Agreed, and it is important to think about what in our society has provided the easiest route to ‘leadership’. The answer for many, including Hillary, is sadly not based upon what they've done in adulthood, but actually is based upon what they did between the ages of 13 and 17.

Hillary's entire career is predicated upon getting into Wellesley. The ‘pedigree’ this provided clearly helped her gain admission to Yale Law School, and this is what launched everything for her. Not to say she would have gotten very far in politics without Bill, as he doesn't have his personality and campaign skills, but even meeting him depended upon getting into Wellesley, as a stepping stone into Yale Law.

For Obama it began even earlier, as he went to a prestigious prep school that gave him an even earlier pedigree.

There is a huge and actually tragic problem with this whole scenario that drastically hurts America and American society. It's an elitism based upon nothing legitimate, and contrary to what has been sold to the public, it is definitively not true that the ‘brightest and the best’ go specific colleges, universities, and graduate schools. It has never been, and never will be that simple, and it actually deprives America from leadership by many who would be imminently better equipped.

The school you go to does not define how bright you are and what your capabilities are. It just defines how you spent your time between the ages of 13-17, or what connections your family had (either by finance or legacy), or whether you were the member of a specific demographic the colleges/universities wanted to add to their ‘diversity’ portfolio.

This is a very real contributor to the terrible leadership we've had for too long.
