I just watched Ted Cruz on FNS replay and I have to say he did not do well with the Wallace interview. While maintaining the integrity of his own campaign efforts, he persisted in repeating his misleading and insinuating statements about Trump and PP, taxes, and other possibe illegal or unethical things that Trump could or may have done or associated himself with. His strong statement that Trump would name a non conservative to the Supreme Court was particularly unfounded and reflected badly on Cruz, not Trump.

Wallace and Cruz did not part friends and Cruz was visibly hostile when the interview was over. I hope Ted Cruz does not blame Donald Trump for what appears to be an ongoing lessening of voter support for himself.

Yeah, he didn't handle the hostile interviewer well. I think he did okay with delivering his anti-Trump points (not saying the points are valid, just that they were delivered well), but when challenged on his own conduct, his first reaction was to basically accuse Wallace of colluding with Trump. That was a mistake. he could have called the accusations false, waved the question off as nonsense, or settled, or some other way to deal with it. But giving the inquisitor something NEW was unwise. Not only was it new, it brought the inquisitor personally into the fray.
