Looks like your days here are numbered.
That may be, but if I am ever zotted, I will go out fighting for what I believe in an America where freedom and the constitution are still held sacred and where every life, including that of the unborn are protected.
I’ve had a truly surprising number of apolitical, sort of social left acquaintances tell me they are going to vote Trump.
Normally, this would be troubling. However, if they are pressed to explain they basically say the game is run by crooks and Trump might clean house, even if he is too right wing for them in normal times.
I can see honest conservatives troubled by Trump and some of his past positions, and his lack of focus on limited government, his flamboyant, media fueled past and his marital problems. All valid concerns...in normal times.
The stranglehold on power that the Uniparty has must be broken, and if we wait for the perfect tool instead of a flawed but capable tool it will be too late.
Trump, I fear, will govern center right, but I believe he loves the country and despises the corrupt oligarchs who have made a mockery of the political process by trying to nullifying the will of the pesky voter before the votes are even cast. They must go, or conservatism is dead until it’s restored after a horrific price is paid.
We’ll need all conservatives, even the ones threatening to take their ball and leave if Trump wins, to band together to keep President Trump and the other branches and levels of government in line. There will be other elections and other issues and we’ll need all hands on deck.
I think there are a fair amount of good conservatives who oppose Trump. I disagree strongly with them on that, but I hope we can make common cause again.
