Now that the Uniparty’s first choice of candidate, Jeb Bush, is out of the race I guess it was only a matter of time before they endorsed Hillary Clinton.

These aren't trade deals, these are issues about U.S. sovereignty.

I agree. Something is up, and I don’t know for sure know what it is exactly.

My barometer is this.

This total pile on didn’t occur when McCain ran for office.

What is happening to Trump has to be seen in that light.

McCain was the dirtiest, sleaziest thing we have ever seen run for office as a Republican, and nobody went postal on him.

Trump comes up and proposes “Make American Great Again” with policies that could just do it, and all hell breaks loose.

Every entity that is down on Trump but was silent when McCain ran, should now be in your sights.

FReeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepers?

...A man without core values won’t make America great. Thats trump, btw....

You are wrong about Trump not having values. If you watched his show, you would have seen a man who honors his family, especially his daughter, he values hard work and honesty, he expects people to perform- to have honor. These are all biblical principles/core values.

I wonder if you just made up your comments because you don’t like the way he looks... or you envy his bravado.

Trump just won’t fit in with the republican party.

He is cursed with having a spine so it is a mismatch right from GO.

National Review is an important voice for the conservative movement. They have strong supporters for both Rubio and Cruz. They are not monolithic. Accusing them of being liberal or mainstream is simply stupid.

It's National Review’s job to promote Ted Cruz or Marco Rubio, and to not give up fighting for them until they withdraw. However, there is no need to come out with declarations that Trump is worse than HRC. First, coming at this time, the argument undercuts Cruz and Rubio, as it implies Trump is the assumed nominee. Second, the idea that Trump would be worse for conservative ideals is absurd.

I am a Tea Partier, a long-time subscriber to National Review, and a Ted Cruz supporter...and I am angered by the national Review.

it was only a matter of time before they endorsed Hillary Clinton.

And for that, only a fool would support them.

Actually, in case you don’t know it, Boeing manufactures in the U.S., not China.

I think this is recognition on the Republican establishment side of the media that we have spent twenty three years with the media in general being a sponsoring party to no limits on the Presidency and Presidential power. Now they are afraid of an independent force, Trump or a anti-establishment conservative, Cruz.

The media realizes what they have been a party to and they are afraid.

Seems like we have more than our share of anti-conservative, pro-Hillary posters here, many of them claiming to be "true conservatives". I am reading more anti-Trump posts than ant-Hillary posts. Should we not set out sites at taking out Hillary?

If not Trump, then who should we support? The two Cubans are not nbc. If they win, they would be tied up in litigation maybe for years.

Cruz and Rubio created a circus during the last debate that demeaned the primary process. Since then Rubio has gone hysterical, screaming about Trump's face and tan and other things that are irrelevant and stupid. He does not have the temperament, the manners, and IQ to be president.

Trump honors his family so much he cheated on his first wife and had affaires with married women. Then trump went on howard stern’s show to talk about not getting stds being his vietnam. While also on the howard stern show trump demeaned women as sexual objects...yeah trump really honored his family with that crass talk of women..

I don’t think that’s exactly right. We can withdraw at any time we wish. They are simply an agreement on how we will do business together.

Let’s face it, stratboy. Obama has a crease in his pants and while he dismembered America, he spoke soft and low and had a nice mellow color that appealed to NR. Trump, on the other hand, has a somewhat loud voice with a distinct regional accent (not unlike that other uncouth person, Sarah Palin) and a rumpled suit. And according to some freepers, short fingers, which they picked up from that conservative stalwart, Carter Graydon. It’s all image to NR. How they forget that Ronald Reagan had dyed hair (supposedly) and rouged cheeks and was dumb as a stump! I’m sure some of them inwardly shook with disgust when he took the lead in 1980! And then jumped on the bandwagon once he took charge and scared the sh** out of Ghaddifi and the unions.
