Rubio is no TRUMP and TRUMP was funny. Because young Rubio flashes a toothy smile while cutting down an older man of accomplishment does not make him funny, but obnoxious, like a spoiled teenager cussing his dad.
I agree; the disrespect is not helping his own image. I feel the same about Cruz's constantly referring to "Donald" in a withering tone of voice, as if the very name were something to mock. If Cruz is such a great debater and Senator, he would do better to follow the debate traditons of the Senate and say, "my opponent" or "the businessman candidate" or "Mr. Trump" and retain his own dignity. I've even heard him say "Mr. Carson" instead of "Dr. Carson" to the brain surgeon. For someone like Cruz, obviously dying for respect for himself, that is low.
