Cruz knows his chances are better inside a weakened wing of the GOP, than with a line of control that follows Trump. Right now he is playing “independent,” but no man is an island, and he’s going to have to join one wing or the other, or get into private life.
How on earth are Cruz supporters going to handle Cruz backing Romney/Rubio?
