Ted had the chance to talk about big ideas and constitutional principles last night but he did not. Instead he tried to take out the front runner. It was a bad plan. The front runner is lacking in the one area Cruz excels...policy. He actually succeeded in making it seem like Rubio had more command of policy than he did. Cruz had an opportunity to rise above the fray but instead he climbed into the mud pit and started slinging.

And if Cruz had stayed above the fray as you suggest, you'd be calling him a pussy today. Stop pretending it's anything other than a no win situation.
