My parents were split Democrat and Republican. I was a very bright kid. I was writing assembly code in 4th grade. I was supporting Reagan in college and tearing into professors and making them look foolish.
I was able to convince my democrat dad to that the rats weren’t the people that he thought they were. So now they are a conservative family. But I’m a Libertarian, so I haven’t got them all the way to the light, but they are still moving in the right direction.
