A media maggot can print any lie about anyone and get them fired with those lies. so what If someone prints big lies about you that get you fired and ostracized so you can't even make a living. You want to have those reporters above the law and deny us our right to sue.
Also under current law, the media can be sued what you mention if actual malice can be proven and the person in question was damaged.
