I guess I would be curious as to what Cruz has stated that you consider to be ‘preaching’ and therefore inappropriate to state in a campaign.
I am telling you what I hear people saying about him. And I cannot tell them, based on what I have heard myself, that their impression was wrong. That’s what it sounded like to me also. In his quest to gain the votes of so-called evangelicals (which clearly was part of his strategy in Iowa), he went about it as a preacher would. Go back and listen to him. Granted, he is the son of a preacher. But so is my son, but he knows not to speak that way in the pursuance of his work.
